Panel
Catherine has an MBA in finance and trained as a lawyer. She has worked as a producer and reporter for numerous channels including ESPN, Sky, BeIN Sports, the BBC and Channel 4. She runs a real estate company and continues to work in broadcasting.
Nick is Head of Strategic Growth at Octopus. He has worked in financial services for the two decades with the last 10 years at Octopus. Over that time Nick has worked closely with advisers to help grow their business by understanding their clients, working with professional connections and providing planning ideas and training. Nick is an affiliate of STEP and specialises in estate planning work. He is a regular contributor to the trade press and speaks passionately about the power of good planning and the opportunities of smaller company investing.
Shane set up the Guinness Ventures team in 2010, having previously worked for Northland Capital Partners, where his focus was on advising growth companies. From 2002 to 2006 Shane was based in Gibraltar with Trafalgar Financial Futures. In 1996 he joined HSBC Investment Bank where he worked in the Telecoms & Technology Team. Shane has a Master's degree from the University of Edinburgh and is a CFA Charterholder.
Paddy joined Foresight in 2017 as a Business Development Manager and became Head of London Business Development Managers in December 2018. He leads the office-based Retail Sales team working out of London, selling our suite of tax-efficient investments and OEICs.
Before joining Foresight, Paddy worked in the wealth management industry in Dubai and before that, the Lloyds of London Insurance Market.
