Lawrence Gosling is the host of the GrowthInvest Adviser Hour and the Editorial Director of Bonhill Group. He was previously the Group Editorial Director of Incisive Media and the founding editor of Investment Week.

Lawrence was also the launch editor of IFAonline, Mortgage Solutions, Cover and Bloomberg Money magazines, and one of the original judges for the Gold Standards. In 1994 he worked at Reuters, and prior to that he spent five years with Financial Times magazines, notably on Financial Adviser.

Dr Brian Moretta

Head of Tax-Enhanced Research, Hardman & Co.

Brian Moretta is the Head of Tax-Enhanced Research at Hardman & Co, and also covers Financials stocks and Investment Funds.

In addition to his role with Hardman & Co, Brian has lectured on actuarial science and financial economics at Heriot-Watt University, is an examiner for the Faculty & Institute of Actuaries, and is on the Bankers without Borders Financial Modelling Reserve Corp.

Brian has had a 20-year career in Financial Services, including more than a decade as a fund manager. He specialised in analysing Financial Services companies at SVM Asset Management, as well as managing two traded endowment funds, an equity fund and working on hedge funds.

Brian joined Hardman & Co in February 2013. He holds a PhD in Applied Probability and a BSc in Actuarial Maths and Statistics from Herriot Watt University.

Gordon Pugh

Gordon joined Blackfinch in 2015. He started his career in 2001 as an analyst on the EIS team at Close Brothers. He moved to Octopus in 2005, distributing tax-efficient products. In 2008 he helped launch Stellar AM, involved with forestry, hotels, farming, and EIS funds and trading companies for IHT. He has also been involved with media sector investments since 1998, including films for UK television. Gordon holds the IMC, completed the first stage of the CFA and is a serial EIS investor.

Jack Rose

Jack brings a wealth of experience to Triple Point having spent the last seven years working at the financial product distribution company LGBR Capital where he was head of their Tax Efficient Investment Division, LightTower Partners, and as such was responsible for creating, organising and implementing the distribution strategy for the EIS, VCT and IHT products the firm represented. Prior to this he was a Sales and Marketing Executive at Matrix Group’s Asset Management Division.

In his new role at Triple Point he will be in charge of helping to build and execute the sales strategy for Triple Point’s new and existing retail products as well as increasing awareness of them within the adviser industry.

Sam Barton is a Managing Director of the Close Inheritance Tax Service. He has spent over 17 years’ managing UK smaller companies funds and joined Close Brothers Asset Management in 2008 from Unicorn Asset Management. Sam is a Chartered fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI), as well as a holder of the Investment Management Certificate and the CISI Diploma.
Hugi Clarke

Hugi joined Foresight in 2016 and is a Partner in the Retail Sales team based in our London office. He has over 20 years' experience, and is responsible for sales and marketing within the retail customer base, and for developing customer satisfaction across Foresight.

Prior to Foresight, Hugi worked at Octopus as an Area Director where he focused on managing a regional sales team. He has also worked as a Sales Manager at Zurich, managing a regional team.

Hugi holds a BSc in Psychology from Nottingham Trent University.
